2007 RTL Events

January Memorial Walk - Saturday prior to January 22^nd
This walk commemorates the Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal on demand in our country.

Sanctity of Life Week - Week begins with the Memorial Walk
This is a week to publicize the pro-life message in our schools, our media and our churches.  RTL sponsors two people to participate in the National March for Life in Washington, D.C.  A Prayer Service is held on the last Sunday of this week at one of our local church to emphasize the need for prayer to end abortion in our country.

Pennies for Life Campaign - any time during the year
This is an annual fundraiser held in our churches during weekend services.  This event offers people of faith the opportunity to thank God for His gift of life.  Each man, woman and child is asked to donate a penny for every year of his or her life.

Garage Sale - June 14^th, 15^th and 16^th, 2007
This is an annual fundraiser

                   1729 Seminary Road    Quincy, IL
Drop off for items will be -
Saturday, June 9^th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday June 11^th from Noon to 7:00 pm
Sale will be -
Thursday, June 14^th  -  3:00 to 7:00 pm will be the Early Bird  Special for $1.00 admission. 
Friday, June 15^th  - Noon to 7:00 pm
Saturday, June 16^th  - 8:00 am to noon will be $1.00 Bag Day  ($1.00 for everything you can fit into a bag)

Adams County Fair - July 26^th thru August 1^st
Quincy Mall Community - September
This is an opportunity to display pro-life materials and present pro-life petitions to the public.

October - Respect Life Month Events
Life Chain - 1^st Sunday in October
Participants are provided with signs and stand in assigned spots to pray silently for one hour.
