UNICEF is notorious for going to refugee camps equipped with enormous quantities of condoms, abortion kits and other tools, that destroy life. In fact, the people there are desperately short of water, food, shelter, medicine and other tools, that could save their lives. In fact, UNICEF has funded a program run by the pro-abortion Population Council (they hold the US patent for the abortion pill RU486). Now the policy for UNICEF is to "promote and expand access to sexual and reproductive health services, including access to condoms." A UNICEF official has even said, "Abstinence is simply not a realistic option for most young people in the world."
Evidence, that UNICEF has actively promoted the culture of death, is overwhelming.
1. In 1987 at the International Conference on Better Health for Women and Children, UNICEF officially endorsed, "good quality abortion services."
2. In 1993, UNICEF raised it's contribution to the pro-abortion United Nation's Population Fund (UNPF), which openly supports Communist China's "one child" family policy, from 2 to 5 million dollars a year.
3. In 1997, the Vatican cut funding to UNICEF, after the group co-sponsored a manual, that endorsed emergency birth control. (Emergency birth control most often causes an early abortion)
4. IN 2002, The Calgary Herald reported, UNICEF has been straying from it's mission for many years. In an article, the following was reported, "Hundreds of thousands of children are still dying of TB, Malaria, or because they don't have clean water. and UNICEF is giving them IUD's (intrauterine devices, that cause abortion).
Trick or Treat for UNICEF is supported by several huge corporations; Proctor & Gamble, Home & Garden television, Baskin & Robbins, Coinstar, Hallmark Gold Crown stores and Pier 1 Imports.
How dishonest; to promote trick or treating for UNICEF, which introduces innocent children to the idea, that they can make a difference for other children without telling them how nefarious UNICEF really is. Starting in the mid 1960's, UNICEF changed from an uncontroversial charity, that everyone could support, to one that no one should support. The organization is an aggressive provider of contraception and even abortion. UNICEF has been dishonest, by going into schools and having young children trick or treat at Halloween, to support it's agenda. The United States government withdrew it's financial support for UNICEF, over 10 years ago. The Catholic Church, and other major religious and charitable donors, have dropped their support, as well. However, UNICEF remains well funded, with the help of Ted Turner, who has been running Ads on CNN and other networks, especially those networks that children watch, trying to make trick or treat for UNICEF a noble thing to do. |
