Right to Life McHenry County Pro-Life Victory PAC Mission Statement
The RLMC Pro-Life Victory PAC seeks to identify, assist and offer support to candidates for public office who have a proven commitment to the sanctity of human life and will be a strong and effective voice for the unborn. We examine three factors in our decision to endorse our candidates; their stand on life issues, their track record on life issues, and their ability to win.
We will diligently work in support of the candidate/candidates who best represents our ongoing mission to respect life at all of its stages and courageously proclaim the truth that all human life is sacred and must be protected by law. |

NOTES FROM IRENE WHILE WITNESSING THE 38TH WASHINGTON DC PROTEST OF THE UNSPEAKABLE ATROCITY OF ROE VS WADE
Pro-Life People cram a lot into the weeks immediately after Christmas lest that dreadful anniversary of January 22, 1973, should escape its share of ignominy.
Not only was that decision a deadly one, (in the literal sense for 53 million being memorialized) but the hundreds of thousands who sacrifice to travel to DC in cold, cold January, any month would have been a better choice. At risk of being tiresome I again point out that their powerful witness IN SPITE OF BITTER WEATHER certainly has escaped the attention of the major media sources not just in 2011 but for all preceding decades!
The throngs are moving down Constitution Avenue as I write (most distracted, of course). Praise to God for EWTN they chant and cheer and shout with joy to witness the power of hundreds of thousands who feel as passionate as they. What a wonderful antidote to the depressing indifference they can expect to encounter in days to come.
St. Thomas Apostle offered a special Send-Off Mass for a hundred mostly young people Friday, January 21st. Every year we see even more enthusiasm and more participation than in the year before.
The newly elected freshmen class of the House of Representatives made a magnificent presentation at the Pre-March Rally, many mentioning the Pro-Life power in the 112th Congress. Our hats are off to our good Pro-Life people of McHenry, Woodstock, Spring Grove, Richmond, Wauconda, and eastward who sent Representative Joe Walsh to serve them. Yes, Joe Walsh (not Melissa Bean) was there at the mike with the others and he affirmed his determination to see that there will be no funding of abortion in his first session representing all of us.
With Congressman Manzullo of the 16th CD, Joe will be an original sponsor of the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act soon to come to the House for a vote. |
